The University of Minnesota Climate Adaptation Partnership (MCAP) and our partners, sponsors, and event hosts are committed to providing a safe, welcoming, and productive experience for everyone at the 2025 Midwest Climate Resilience Conference, regardless of gender, gender expression, age, race or ethnicity, national origin, sexual orientation, ability, physical appearance, body size, or religion. To that end, we asked all conference attendees to comply with our Conference Code of Conduct to ensure an inclusive and welcoming space for all.
The collective organizers of the Midwest Climate Resilience Conference, including the University of Minnesota Climate Adaptation Partnership (MCAP), acknowledge that we are living and working on Indigenous lands throughout the Midwest and Great Lakes region. We commit ourselves to upholding tribal sovereignty, while recognizing that we must go beyond words, and practice work that is just, relationship-building, transparent, accountable, and respectful. This includes actions that center and prioritize Tribal goals, needs, and voices. Read our full land acknowledgement here.
